Celebrating Growth, Development, and a Stronger Future Together.

The past year, ADR has continued to demonstrate the resilience, ambition, and collaborative spirit that define us as a business. With fewer than 20 employees and hybrid-working we’ve proven that a small team can achieve big things when everyone is committed to progress. Therefore, as we move into a new financial year it’s important to celebrate a series of milestones. These reflect our dedication to building a stronger, more cohesive, and futureready business at the hub of ADR – Central Services.

Empowering Our Central Services Team

A significant achievement this year has been the upskilling of the Central Services team. Through targeted development and increased responsibility, they have stepped confidently into a broader operational role. Therefore, allowing our directors to focus on strategic leadership, business development, and client delivery – strengthening the company at every level. Professional growth within our Central Services team is a testament to what can be achieved when talent is nurtured and trust is placed in people to rise to new challenges.

Progress Toward Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001 Accreditation

We are delighted to have successfully passed Stage 1 of the EMS ISO 14001 assessment. This marks a major step forward in our commitment to environmental responsibility. Our achievement not only reflects the hard work of Central Services but also the support and commitment of the ADR team. Achieving full accreditation will reinforce our dedication to sustainable practice and responsible engineering – values that are increasingly essential.

A Culture of Continuous Development

ADR believe that progress is never a one off event – it’s a continuous journey. This year, we have strengthened our commitment to ongoing development for both our employees and the organisation as a whole. From refining internal processes, defining our Corporate and Social Responsibilities and expanding professional skills. We are building a culture where improvement and learning is embedded in everything we do.

We have made meaningful improvements to our appraisal process and supporting documentation. This ensures that performance conversations are clearer, more constructive, and aligned with individual growth. Furthermore, we have updated a range of internal policies and standards to ensure compliance with current governance requirements and employment law. These updates not only protect the business – they create a fair, transparent, and supportive environment for the entire team.

Partnering with Specialist Providers

Recognising the value of expert support we have expanded our knowledge base through external partners to enhance our internal capabilities. Accountancy, HR specialists, and health and safety advisors ensure we maintain the highest standards of compliance, wellbeing and operational excellence. These partnerships allow us to operate with greater confidence, clarity, and professionalism.

Building Cohesion Across the Company

With colleagues split across Kent and Essex, and three employees working remotely, strengthening connection is priority. We introduced wholecompany management meetings, monthly virtual coffee sessions, and standardised employee documentation in addition to our weekly resource meetings. These initiatives have helped create a more unified culture, where communication flows more easily and collaboration feels natural.

Engineering a better tomorrow

As we look ahead, we remain committed to continuous improvement, shared success, and building a company where every individual can thrive. The progress we’ve made this year reflects the dedication of our entire team – and we’re excited for what comes next.
