Meet the team…

ADR Consulting Engineers is led and owned by three seasoned directors with extensive experience in the construction industry. Their collective knowledge and deep-rooted understanding of building services has fostered a culture of excellence, a constant pursuit of greatness which has resulted in unparalleled success and growth.

The team has grown significantly over the years to include some truly exceptional engineers, technicians and support members. With that said, we are proud to introduce to you the team:

Kent

Lex Rouzee

Director
Lex originally started on-site as an apprentice at the age of 18 and worked his

way up to a foreman/ supervisor role. In 2012 he embarked on a career shift that saw him leave the site-based role and begin his career in Consulting. He enrolled at London South Bank University and eventually moved into a partner position at a previous consulting engineer practice.
ADR Consulting Engineers was originally set up to support Electrical Contractors with D&B capability, but it now has grown to offer full MEP design from concept through to completion.  Having experience in both installation and design/consultancy has enabled Lex to have an overarching approach to MEP design. “Having a working knowledge of electrical equipment and systems is a massive advantage on complex projects”. Lex is fully conversant in Dialux/Relux, ElectricalOM, ProDesign, and AutoCAD MEP and spent many years working on BIM Level 2 projects.

Nat Godden

Director
Nat started on his journey in the construction sector over 15 years ago,

working on heritage buildings.

Attending college to complete a National Diploma in Building Services Engineering. During the course, he found a passion for engineering detail and the associated calculations and wanted more. From college he followed straight onto a full-time master’s degree in Energy and Building Services Engineering, studying at Ulster University. After graduating with a First, he has been passionate about education and the education of others around him ever since, taking time to mentor new engineers in all his previously held positions. Working to balance academia with practical understanding, he has been working with Revit for over 10 years and believes in producing calculations and detailed drawings, even for the smallest of projects to support the site installation and improve the operational performance of buildings when in use.

Nat has mechanical design experience across most sectors, including manufacturing and industry, laboratories and cleanrooms, healthcare, education, commercial and residential. Working on projects from inception to completion, he believes engineers should be able to understand or at the very least appreciate all aspects of construction and have an ability to work closely with all team members, keeping collaboration front and centre in all projects.

Don Foster

Director
Don has over 40 years of experience in all aspects of electrical engineering and

has worked on various Education, Healthcare, Retail, Rail, and Residential projects. Initially starting his career as an electrician before progressing to a contract manager role and then into consulting in 2005. His current duties include being responsible for the design, project management, final inspection and witness testing of completed projects.
He has a passion for electrical engineering design and for developing solutions to complex problems. Particularly enjoys working closely with clients and their sub-contractors to help deliver projects on time and within budget. He is fully conversant with 3D lighting design and cable calculation software packages. More than 5 years’ experience of working on BIM Level II projects using both Revit and Navisworks to navigate within the 3D environment.

Jasper Simmonds

Int Mech Engineer Jasper began his career in the industry as a junior engineer after completing

his A-levels in Maths, Physics and Product Design. In 2020 he obtained a HNC in Building Services Engineering achieving a distinction, before progressing onto London South Bank University where he is currently studying for a Batchelor’s of Engineering.
Through studying and industry experience, Jasper has discovered great enthusiasm towards engineering design, calculations, and collaborative working to help deliver high quality projects. Jasper has ambitions to progress his technical understanding further and obtain CIBSE chartership.
Outside of work, Jasper is part of the England U23 8-Ball Pool squad, and enjoys competing internationally.

Josh Butcher

Int Elec Engineer
Josh began his career in the industry working as an Electrical Estimator after

completing his A-levels in Maths, Business and Product Design. He has since moved on to working as an intermediate design engineer with more than 5 years’ experience in the Building Services Engineering industry. Josh has previously worked within a contractor environment which has provided him with the knowledge and understanding to the critical role design plays in delivering quality projects onsite. In 2020 he obtained a HNC in Building Services Engineering achieving a distinction, before progressing onto London South Bank University where he is currently studying for a Batchelor’s of Engineering.

Through studying and industry experience Josh has gained a great interest for the technicalities and fine detail contained within engineering. Josh has ambitions to progress on to further education within the engineering field, as well as to seek CIBSE chartership.

James Rose

Revit/CAD Technician For over 20 years Jim has worked within the construction industry.

Initially starting as an electrical apprentice and then moving on to set up and run the in-house drawing department for an electrical contractor.
With the wealth of experience gained during his time working for an electrical contractor Jim moved to a Consultancy practice. Once in consulting, he developed a passion for producing clean, detailed & visually correct drawings needed for his clients.
