The team at ADR Consulting Engineers Ltd are delighted to welcome Shazar Salar to our ranks! Shazar joins us for a year-long placement as part of his Architectural Engineering degree from Loughborough University. The team are excited to have Shazar join us.
Shazar has come to us with a strong academic foundation, having completed two years of his degree at Loughborough. Shazar has built a solid understanding of the principles of architectural engineering. Shazar’s year with us will serve as a crucial bridge between theory and practice. This placement will undoubtedly further strengthen his knowledge of the built environment.
A few words from Shazar.
I’m really looking forward to joining ADR for my placement year and learning from such an experienced and well-rounded team. With ADR’s involvement in everything from MEP design to infrastructure and asset surveys, I’m excited to gain hands-on experience across building services. I’m especially keen to see how engineering decisions are made and coordinated in practice. To build on what I’ve learned at university in a real project environment.
As a student focused on sustainability and design, I’m looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective and getting stuck in. I’m keen to learn as much as I can from the team and contribute wherever possible.
Outside of my studies, I’m really into sports—mainly football and Taekwondo. I train regularly and compete in national and international tournaments.
Shazar’s remarkable passion and capability really stood out. He’s an incredibly driven young aspiring engineer, whose enthusiasm is infectious. We are thrilled to provide him with the platform to apply his academic learning, tackle real-world challenges, also contribute to exciting projects. Our goal is to integrate him into our workflows, therefore allowing him to experience the full spectrum of what we do here at ADR.
During his time at ADR, Shazar will be working alongside our experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of consulting engineering. He’ll have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, learn about the latest industry practices, and subsequently develop a comprehensive understanding of the collaborative nature of our work.
