Celebrating Georgia Dobbs: Our New Central Services Manager!

Today, ADR Consulting Engineers Ltd are excited to announce a truly significant promotion within our team: Georgia Dobbs has been appointed as our Central Services Manager! This is a moment of immense pride for us, recognising Georgia’s incredible dedication, talent, and indispensable contributions to ADR since its very beginning.

From the inception of ADR Consulting Engineers, Georgia has been an integral part of our journey. Georgia served in various capacities and consistently went above and beyond. In her previous role as our primary administrator, she has been nothing short of fundamental in developing our policies, processes, and overall business operations. If you’ve interacted with ADR, chances are you’ve benefited from the efficient procedures that Georgia helped put in place. Her meticulous approach and proactive problem-solving have been the bedrock of our operational success.

Georgia’s new role as Central Services Manager is a natural and well-deserved evolution of her responsibilities. It expands upon her previous duties, placing a heightened focus on how we govern the company, ensuring that as we grow, our core vision and values are maintained and strengthened. This position is absolutely critical as ADR continues to expand. This role ensures our internal structures are robust, efficient, and aligned with our strategic goals.

A few words from our Central Services Manager.

I joined ADR as my primary employment in 2023, however I have worked behind the scenes since its infancy when the company started in 2020.  ADR is part of my family, both literally and figuratively, and I am really invested in shaping our future success.  Being offered the position of Central Services Manager, full-time was an incredible opportunity, and a “no-brainer” to accept.

Before I worked as an administrator, I spent 16 years in various roles nursing in the NHS. This developed my skills in critical thinking, quality assurance, and a need for research-based decision making. All of which have been transferable skills particularly in guiding the company through achieving the ISO:9001 Quality Management Systems certification.

My professional aspirations for the company are to create a stable foundation for our internal processes. Also to engineer a collaborative cohesive governance structure that unites all of our base units.  This will ensure that our staff are supported in their every day. Furthermore, fostering growth for the future, whilst continuing to deliver high quality standards in everything we do.

A testament to Georgia’s dedication to operational excellence is her championing of ISO 9001 within the company. She spearheaded our efforts to achieve this globally recognised quality management standard. This a monumental task that has significantly enhanced our processes and client service. Georgia’s drive for continuous improvement doesn’t stop there; Georgia is now embarking on our journey towards ISO 14001 certification. The certification demonstrates our commitment to environmental management and sustainable practices.

At ADR Consulting Engineers, we are constantly striving to improve our engineering designs to our internal administration. Georgia’s new role will be critical in leading these efforts, ensuring that our growth is not just rapid, but also structured, sustainable, and true to our founding principles. She embodies the spirit of continuous improvement that we champion.

We are incredibly excited for this next chapter with Georgia leading our Central Services. Please join us in congratulating her on this fantastic and thoroughly deserved promotion!
