2023 has been a truly amazing year! So we wanted to share with you a Christmas round-up from the ADR Team. Our journey this year has seen us move offices, have some fantastic people join our team and deliver some truly exceptional projects.

Below are just a few of the highlights for 2023. We are so looking forward to what 2024 has to offer…
Nat, Don, Jim, Jasper and Georgia join the team
It was quite some time in the making, but in April of 2023 Nat and Don joined ADR Consulting Engineers Ltd as Directors. You can read the full post here, but essentially their knowledge, drive and vision have propelled us to new heights.
Shortly after, Jim Rose and Jasper Simmonds both joined us bringing additional BIM and MEP support respectively.
In the summer Georgia Dobbs also joined the team providing financial, quality and administrative support.
ADR Consulting Engineers have been in operations since 2020, growing from strength to strength. We aspire to be the best building services consultancy practice around, delivering the highest quality of work for our incredible network of clients.
The big move at Denne Hill
We would like to say a massive thank you to the team at Denne Hill for a painless move from our old offices into our new space. The team here did an amazing job of supporting us and keeping us updated during the refurbishment of the new space.
We would very much like to hear from you, and if you are passing Denne Hill please drop us a message and come in for a coffee.
Brands Hatch Hospitality Days
We were lucky to be offered to Co-Host three of the 2023 events at Brands Hatch, Kent with Harwood Building Control this year. The GT Championship, BTCC and the final round of the BSB.
The GT Championship and BSB were joined by members of our network, all of whom were treated to a fantastic day of racing, great weather and access to a unique perspective of the epic GP circuit. Really enjoyable events, with even better company.
We would love the opportunity to co-host more events next year and if you have something in mind, please do get in touch with Don, Nat or Lex.
A Summer of dusty trails
We were blessed with great weather, dusty trails and quite a few ride outs this summer. Our offices are within riding distance of some stellar tracks over in Covert and Lyminge forest.
Being able to ride to work, have some laughs and get some exercise is incredible important for your mental and physical health. We are very lucky.

Networking Event at the Sail Box
Our Autumn drinks event at Sailbox was a great success. Sailbox is a new wonderful seaside restaurant along the Harbour Arm in Folkestone. Its creator, Mark Babins, is also the owner of Harbour Coffee and the Fish Shack.
Around 40 guests joined us for an evening of snacks, drinks and networking. This might end up taking a regular place on our calendar. Great food, awesome scenery and the very best company – thank you for coming.

Team Events
We thrive on collaboration and teamwork, coming together to achieve our goals. Amidst the hard work and dedication, it’s crucial to pause and take a moment for some light-hearted camaraderie.
This year, we’ve had some memorable team events, from delightful lunches to experiencing the thrill of the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch. And, of course, our festive Christmas Dinner.
These events help reinforce the bonds that make our team truly exceptional. We love what we do, and that shows through our work.
